Courses
Courses from 1 to 52 weeks are offered. Further details are given in the Course Calender (see below). Seven skill levels are offered, ranging from Beginners to Highly Proficient. Students who have some Italian knowledge are placed in the appropriate course level following a proficiency test.

Intensive courses are designed to help students to quickly develop an advanced knowledge of written and spoken Italian.

Lunch Courses: if you wish, individual courses can also be organised to include lunch with your teacher. This way you are able to continue practicing the newly acquired language in a more informal environment.

Classes
Each class has a maximum of ten students all at a similar level of ability in the Italian language. All courses are taught by qualified teachers who ensure that students receive a satisfactory framework of grammatical structures which are developed by practical exercises involving communicative skills.

Lessons
Lessons are held every morning, Monday to Friday, starting at 9am and finishing at 1pm. There is a short break at 10.45am. Afternoon lessons take place between 3pm and 5pm.

Teaching methods
The objective of the teaching syllabus is to stimulate rapid progess in the practical use of modern Italian. Classes are based on the continuous and direct use of the language under the teacher's guidance. Suitable examples are provided, specific points are explained, encouragement and corrections are given. In this way the structure and vocabulary learning and practice become a pleasant and rewarding experience.

Teachers
All members of the teaching staff are university qualified. Their experience and enthusiasm, both in class and in organizing social and recreational activities, ensure that students obtain maximum satisfaction.

Certificates
All students who have a regular class attendance will be presented with an Attainment Certificate at the end of the course.
